Family Valentine Dance:  This event is generally held on the Friday preceding Valentines Day in the Veazie Community School's gymnasium.  Light refreshments, music, door prizes and photo opportunities make the evening memorable for all families who attend.

Spring Extravaganza:  This event is held before Easter and invites children ages 12 and under to participate.  All activities are held at the Veazie Community School.  The event consists of games, door prizes and an Easter egg hunt.  Don't forget your rubber boots and a basket to carry your eggs!

Swimming Lessons:  Integrated into the summer recreation program, lessons are provided at the Brewer pool once a week for six weeks.  For children who do not wish to participate in the swim lessons they may play next door at the playground.

Halloween Carnival:  This event is generally held on the Saturday preceding Halloween in the gymnasium of the Veazie Community School.  Thanks to the  generosity of Veazie residents and local businesses, the Recreation Committee is able to put on a wonderful night of games and prizes for the children.  Volunteers are always needed to assist in this event.
